About this effect
In 1909 the artist Pamela Colman Smith drew a tarot for the occultist A. E. Waite, and her pictures became the tarot almost everyone recognises: the Fool at the cliff edge, the Hermit with his lantern, the Ace of Cups overflowing. This deck keeps her original artwork.
The edges are gilded, so the closed deck reads as a solid bar of gold, and it comes in a printed metal tin, 10.3 × 6.2 cm, that keeps it safe in a bag or on a shelf.
