About this effect
Every court is a character rather than a face — the White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter, the Queen of Hearts — drawn after the original illustrations and printed on aged cream stock with ornate pips.
"We're all mad here" runs across the joker. It plays, and it keeps just as well on a shelf.
