About this effect
It looks like a tube of potato chips, sealed and ready to share. Hand it over, wait for the lid to come off, and a long spring snake bursts out of it. The oldest gag in the joke shop, and it still gets a scream every time.
The tube is 21.5 × 7.7 cm, the size of a real one, so it sits innocently in a snack cupboard or a stocking. Repack the snake and it is ready for the next victim.
Questions
