Chinese Playing Cards — Peking Opera Deck

Every court card is a character from Peking Opera, painted in the masks and costumes of the stage, and the back carries a blue lattice pattern in the Chinese style. The tuck box is printed with an opera mask and is as much of the object as the cards are.

It plays as an ordinary deck, and it is a gift for anyone with a connection to China, or who simply collects decks that look like nothing else on the table.
