Magic supplies in Wichita, Sedgwick County, Kansas
Whatever you perform in Wichita — close-up at a table, walk-around at a party, or a stand-up set — the material ships from here.
We post to every address in Sedgwick County and the rest of Kansas — there is no shop floor in Wichita, and no separate pricing by city.
Wichita is small enough that the local magic scene is probably three people who know each other. That is not a disadvantage — it is how most performers learn, and a smaller room is a more honest audience than a big one.
There is no brick-and-mortar magic shop in most of Wichita, which is the usual reason people end up ordering. The trade-off is that you cannot handle a prop before buying it, so every listing says plainly what ships, what is included, and whether instructions come with it.
Wichita
Stage and parlour
Props that read from the back row: appearing and vanishing canes, flower productions, linking rings in 30cm chrome, silks, flash bags and the larger apparatus. Stage material asks more of your staging than your fingers — the method is usually simple and the presentation is the whole job.
Wichita
Coin magic
Coin work travels better than anything else — an expanded shell and a few half dollars fit in a pocket and play anywhere. Shells, folding coins, coin gimmicks and magnetic props cover vanishes, productions, transpositions and the bend. Harder than cards to learn, and considerably stronger when it lands.

Starting out in Wichita
The first year is about repetition, not acquisition. Pick one effect, perform it a hundred times for real people, and only then buy the second one. Everything in the beginner collection is chosen to survive that kind of use.

Magic around Kansas
The midwest is the historic centre of American magic manufacturing — Abbott's in Colon, Michigan has been making apparatus since 1934, and the Get-Together still draws thousands of magicians every August.
