Magic supplies in Sacramento, Sacramento County, California
Magic supplies delivered to Sacramento: trick decks, coin gimmicks, close-up props, mentalism tools and stage apparatus.
We post to every address in Sacramento County and the rest of California — there is no shop floor in Sacramento, and no separate pricing by city.
A city the size of Sacramento usually has at least one magic club meeting monthly and a handful of working performers. Both are worth finding before you buy anything expensive: an hour watching someone competent is worth more than a prop.
Searches for a magic shop in Sacramento mostly turn up party-supply aisles and fancy-dress racks. What a performer actually wants is narrower: a decent deck that does something, a coin gimmick that stands examination, and a close-up mat to work on. That is what this catalogue is — props and gimmicks chosen by what survives performance, not by what fills a shelf.
Sacramento
Mentalism
The quietest magic and often the strongest. Forcing dice, mental dice boxes, prediction props, nail writers and marked material let you know a thought, a number or a word without ever touching a deck. It plays to adults, it plays in corporate rooms, and it leaves no prop to blame.
Sacramento
Stage and parlour
Props that read from the back row: appearing and vanishing canes, flower productions, linking rings in 30cm chrome, silks, flash bags and the larger apparatus. Stage material asks more of your staging than your fingers — the method is usually simple and the presentation is the whole job.

Starting out in Sacramento
If you are starting, the honest advice is to buy three things and work them until they are invisible, rather than twenty and perform none of them. A Svengali deck, a set of sponge balls and a decent close-up mat will carry you further in six months than a drawer of apparatus.

Magic around California
The west coast magic scene leans close-up and comedy, and Los Angeles has the Magic Castle pulling performers through it. Expect strong local competition and a correspondingly good standard of amateur work.
