Magic supplies in Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas
If you are performing in Lubbock, or learning to, this is where the props come from. Decks, gimmicks, coins, cups, silks and the rest.
We post to every address in Lubbock County and the rest of Texas — there is no shop floor in Lubbock, and no separate pricing by city.
Lubbock is small enough that the local magic scene is probably three people who know each other. That is not a disadvantage — it is how most performers learn, and a smaller room is a more honest audience than a big one.
If you have been learning from videos and want the props to go with them, this is the shortcut. Marked decks, Svengali decks, stripper decks, coin shells and close-up mats all ship to Lubbock, and the listings say which effects each one is actually used for.
Lubbock
Coin magic
Coin work travels better than anything else — an expanded shell and a few half dollars fit in a pocket and play anywhere. Shells, folding coins, coin gimmicks and magnetic props cover vanishes, productions, transpositions and the bend. Harder than cards to learn, and considerably stronger when it lands.
Lubbock
Close-up and street magic
Material built to survive inspection from three feet away: sponge balls, cups and balls, chop cups, ring gimmicks and close-up mats. Street and table work is the most forgiving way to get good, because the audience is small enough to restart and honest enough to tell you when it did not land.

Starting out in Lubbock
Beginners usually buy too much. One self-working deck, one coin gimmick and one routine you can perform without thinking is worth more than a shelf of props you half know. The decks under $15 are not the cheap option — they are what most professionals learned on.

Magic around Texas
Las Vegas anchors the southwest, which means the regional standard for stage illusion is unusually high and there is steady paid work for close-up performers in restaurants and casinos.
