Magic supplies in Hayward, Alameda County, California
Magic supplies delivered to Hayward: trick decks, coin gimmicks, close-up props, mentalism tools and stage apparatus.
We post to every address in Alameda County and the rest of California — there is no shop floor in Hayward, and no separate pricing by city.
Hayward is small enough that the local magic scene is probably three people who know each other. That is not a disadvantage — it is how most performers learn, and a smaller room is a more honest audience than a big one.
Searches for a magic shop in Hayward mostly turn up party-supply aisles and fancy-dress racks. What a performer actually wants is narrower: a decent deck that does something, a coin gimmick that stands examination, and a close-up mat to work on. That is what this catalogue is — props and gimmicks chosen by what survives performance, not by what fills a shelf.
Hayward
Mentalism
The quietest magic and often the strongest. Forcing dice, a dice box that reads what is shaken inside it, brass mental dice and PK rings let you know a thought, a number or a word without ever touching a deck. It plays to adults, it plays in corporate rooms, and it leaves no prop to blame.
Hayward
Stage and parlour
Props that read from the back row: appearing and vanishing canes, flower productions, linking rings in 30cm chrome, silks, flash bags and the larger apparatus. Stage material asks more of your staging than your fingers — the method is usually simple and the presentation is the whole job.

Starting out in Hayward
Nobody needs an expensive prop to start. The strongest beginner material in the shop costs less than lunch — self-working decks, sponge balls and forcing dice — and all of it still gets used by people who have been performing for twenty years.

Where to buy magic tricks in Hayward
Magic shops closed almost everywhere between 2000 and 2015, Hayward included, and the trade moved online. The gain is range — a marked deck, a chop cup and a set of linking rings in one order. The cost is that you cannot handle anything first, so the listings are written to be read instead: what ships, what it does, what it takes to do it.

Magic in the West
The west coast magic scene leans close-up and comedy, and Los Angeles has the Magic Castle pulling performers through it. Expect strong local competition and a correspondingly good standard of amateur work.
