Professional Magic

Working repertoire for performers who are paid to be right the first time.

Professional material is judged by different criteria than hobbyist material. Does it reset in under ten seconds? Does it survive a drunk heckler and bad lighting? Can it be carried in a jacket pocket, performed twelve times a night, and repaired at 2am with what's in the case?

The effects here are chosen against that standard. Several of them are more expensive than they first appear to justify — the price reflects the machining, the durability and the fact that a working prop that fails once costs more than it saved.
